Chuan Bei Mu, derived from the bulb of the Fritillaria, has been used to treat cough and other lung conditions for centuries in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). This herb has a natural cooling property, which is effective for respiratory ailments and can be used as a substitute of patent medications.
