Shipping Terms at The Herb Depot (Canada Shipping)
- All orders over $125 (before tax) qualify for free shipping in Canada

This adjustment helps offset high shipping costs to BC, while allowing us to keep delivering quality products at the best possible price for our valued customers. - Orders are sent via Fleet Optics / Intelcom Dragonfly / UniUni / Ecom Logistics / ICS Courier / Purolator / Canada Post
- Processing times: All orders require 1-3 business days to be processed and fulfilled (delivery time does not include processing times)
- Once orders are fulfilled, a shipping confirmation email will be sent with a tracking number for fully tracked and secure deliveries
- Shipping is operated on business days only, Monday to Friday

- Delivery standards are for items sent between most major urban centres. Actual delivery times depend on origin, destination, weather conditions and other factors. For parcels sent via Canada Post, you can find the specific delivery standard from your postal code to a Canadian destination at canadapost.ca/deliverytool
- To qualify for free shipping with discount code; order total must be over $125 (before tax) after discount/sale/coupon code has been applied
- Canada Remote Areas (Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut): All orders over $200.00 (before tax) will qualify for free shipping. To qualify for free shipping with discount code; order total must be over $200.00 (before tax) after discount/sale/coupon code has been applied. Please allow longer shipping times for remote areas: estimated 6-9 business days
- For larger orders (i.e. quantity exceeding 30 items); please allow for longer processing times
- Free shipping (including BC orders with $5 flat rate) qualifies for fully tracked deliveries by Fleet Optics, Intelcom, UniUni, Ecomm Logistics, ICS Courier, Canada Post / Local delivery by Flashbox (Toronto & GTA select areas only). The Herb Depot reserves the right to use Fleet Optics, UniUni, Ecomm Logistics, ICS Courier, Canada Post or Flashbox shipping services. Accelerated Same / Next Business Day Delivery Terms at The Herb Depot (Toronto & Select GTA) — service currently discontinued, stay tuned for updates
- We offer Same-Day or Next-Day delivery by Flashbox to Toronto and the GTA area. You can check if you qualify by CLICKING HERE or see below for a list of supported postal codes
- Orders over $125 before tax will qualify for Free Same/Next Business Day delivery
- Orders placed BEFORE 10:00am will be delivered same business day between 4:00pm-10:00pm. Orders placed AFTER 10:00am will be delivered the next business day between 4:00pm-10:00pm
- Extended coverage to Hamilton and Milton. Service type is always Next-Day (4:00pm-10:00pm) if the shipment address is in Hamilton or Milton
- Extended coverage to Brockville. Flashbox only delivers to Brockville on Fridays. No matter which day the order is placed, orders to Brockville will be delivered on Fridays 4:00pm-10:00pm
- Same/Next Day Delivery is operated on business days only (Monday-Friday). Orders made after the cut-off time at 10:00am on Friday will be delivered on Monday. There is no delivery on statutory holidays
- Same/Next Day Delivery does not deliver to PO Boxes. Select "Canada Post Expedited Parcel" at checkout for secure deliveries to PO Box addresses via Canada Post
- Commercial address delivery is operated only with Next Business Day Delivery on business days only (Monday-Friday) during regular business hours of 10:00am-3:00pm. *Same-Day delivery with a commercial address is not available. Orders made after the cut-off time at 10:00am will be processed (picked up by Flashbox) the following business day, and delivered next day 10:00am-3:00pm (3 business days in total). Orders placed before 10:00am will be delivered next business days between 10:00am-3:00pm. Orders made before 10:00am on Friday will be delivered on Monday between 10:00-3:00pm. Orders made after the cut-off time at 10:00am on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday between 10:00am-3:00pm. There is no delivery on statutory holidays

- Should the initial delivery be unsuccessful due to unavailability, no access to building, or incorrect address, two more attempts will be made within the next few business days. A total of 3 delivery attempts will be made. Flashbox will contact you to troubleshoot the delivery, or we will contact you to help revise any delivery details/instructions. Should the third attempt be unsuccessful, the parcel will then be returned to us. A full refund minus the original delivery fee of $14.75 will be issued back to you. This includes orders with free shipping; $14.75 will be deducted from your total refund amount. You may then place a new order with us
- Maximum parcel weight must be 30 lbs or under as per Flashbox policies. Parcels must be 30in x 18in x 10in or less. Should your parcel exceed the weight and/or dimensions limit, we will notify you via email of the update, and ship through Canada Post. Shipping confirmation email with your new tracking will follow. If your order qualified for Free Same/Next Day Delivery, we will honour free shipping through Canada Post

- All U.S. & International orders require 1-3 business days to be processed and fulfilled (delivery time does not include processing times). Please note Canadian statutory holidays for closed store hours and holiday postal service hours
- Delivery times at checkout are automated, and are estimates only. - Should your order be subject to customs or import duties, this will be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. We cannot determine the cost of customs policies and import duties. These charges must be paid by the recipient, and any information requested must be provided by the recipient to clear customs
(8/15/25) for U.S. Customers: Should there be additional duties/custom fees required to be paid for custom release, additional charges must be paid by recipient to clear customs
- The Herb Depot cannot be held responsible should local customs authorities wish to confiscate any items or charge any import duties. Should the package be confiscated, and the package not returned back to us, The Herb Depot cannot be held accountable for the refund of your order. You must bare this risk when placing your order to the U.S. and to international destinations
- Should the package's delivery times be longer than expected delivery times due to customs delay, re-routing between carriers, or delays due to processing times with partnered international carriers; The Herb Depot is not responsible for the refund or re-sending of your order. You must bare this risk when placing your order to the U.S. and to international destinations
- Should an international/U.S. parcel be returned due to refusal at customs in buyer's country, The Herb Depot cannot be held accountable for the full refund of your order. As there will be administrative and retrieval fees incurred by The Herb Depot; a refund of the products sold will be issued to you, however original shipping costs will not be included in the refund. A refund confirmation email will be sent to you; along with a secondary email with the details/outcome of your order. You must bare this risk when placing an international order. Returns at The Herb Depot
- We accept returns of unopened / unused items (in saleable condition) within 30 days from the original date of purchase
- Email us at support@theherbdepot.ca to initiate your return
- Custom herbal formulas/prescriptions are final sale items
- Online orders can be returned by mail or in-person at our Dundas location; please have your original order confirmation email + order number ready for our associates
- Shipping costs will not be covered by us for returns
- Once item(s) have been received and inspected, your refund will be issued immediately in the original form of payment and a refund confirmation email will be sent to you
- Refund does not include initial shipping fees
- Your bank may require additional time to post this transaction to your account. Please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles from the day you return your merchandise for your account to be credited
- Should a parcel be returned due to an incorrect address, The Herb Depot is not responsible for re-sending your parcel. Once the parcel is retrieved, we will issue a refund to you (original shipping costs will not be included). A new order can be placed again with your correct address. Please note: Should there be a retrieval postage fee, this charge will be deducted from your total refund. A refund confirmation email will be sent to you; along with a secondary email with the retrieval receipt attached
