UTI's and yeast infections are often treated in Western medicine with antibiotics that can disrupt the intestinal gut flora and disrupt digestion, and anti-fungal medication.
Comfort Down Under follows TCM principles expelling damp-heat and toxicity from the lower body to ease symptoms of painful and/or frequent urination, itching, vaginal discharge, and prevent recurring infections.
ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS: Expel damp heat and toxicity from the lower body
INGREDIENTS
Chameleon Plant (Yu Xing Cao)
Longtube Ground Ivy (Lian Qian Cao)
Amur Cork-Tree Bark (Huang Bo)
Poria (Fu Ling)
THE FORMULA EXPLAINED
Promote urination - A UTI is often accompanied with symptoms of painful, frequent, and/or urgent urination. Longtube Ground Ivy (Lian Qian Cao) and Chameleon Plant (Yu Xing Cao) promotes urination to clear the body of heat and toxicity and unblock the urinary tracts..
Clear dampness - Excessive dampness in the lower body can cause fluid stagnation and symptoms of thickened or smelly vaginal discharge and painful urination. Poria (Fu Ling) removes excessive dampness from the lower body.
Strengthen and invigorate Spleen - The Spleen’s role in the body is the transport and transform fluids in the body. When the Spleen is deficient, dampness can accumulate like condensation in a room. When left for too long, it can cause adverse affects. Poria (Fu Ling) strengthens and invigorates the Spleen to remove dampness.
