Recommended Use:
2 tablets 3 times daily. For adults only.
Cautions:
Consult a healthcare practitioner: 1) prior to use if you have pus draining from sores, headaches or eye problems due to yin or blood deficiency; 2) prior to use if you have peptic ulcers, history of kidney stones or liver disease. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you experience watery stools, diarrhea, vomiting and dizziness; 3) if symptoms persist or worsen or 4) for use beyond duration 8 days. Do not simultaneously take the cold medicine and please consult your health care practitioner. Do not use: 1) in cases of spitting blood, tuberculosis, intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain or diarrhea of unknown origin or any inflammatory condition of the intestines; 2) if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroid, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; 3) in cases of yin deficiency, nausea or vomiting, excess dampness, spleen or stomach deficiency and diarrhea due to kidney deficiency, loose stool or loss of appetite due to cold from deficiency, exterior disorders or yin deficiency with heat signs, qi or blood deficiency, heat from deficiency in the lungs, any condition with cold in the middle burner, liver wind patterns, headaches due to ascendant liver yang, excessive menstrual bleeding or heat excess; 4) for sores due to qi deficiency (those with clear exudates), yin ulcers or carbuncles that have already ulcerated, fully erupted measles or open sores; or 5) if pregnant or breastfeeding.
