Recommended Dose:
4 capsules each time, 3 times a day
Cautions:
Consult a TCM practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not use in those who are weak/ have a weak constitution. Do not use if you have a ulcers of the gastrointestinal tract, liver disorders or kidney disorders. Do not eat fatty or oily foods when taking this herb or consume alcohol. Discontinue use if you experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloody stool, headache or dizziness. Do not use in cases of yin-deficient heat or cold from deficiency of the spleen and stomach. Do not use in case of nutritive qi deficiency and desiccated blood, fire in the liver and kidneys and cough due to yin deficiency.
Contradictions:
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you have wind-cold common cold. Do not take if you are currently taking or have recently taken Monoamine Oxidase (Mao) inhibitor drugs. Do not exceed recommended dosage or take for more that 7 days except on the advice of a physician. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a heart or thyroid disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, difficulty in urination due to an enlargement of the prostate gland or if you are taking any prescription drugs. Consult a TCM practitioner prior to use if you are taking other medications.
